4 Things to Consider Before Getting Yourself a New Juicer

Juicers have become quite the popular kitchen appliance now that so many people understand the importance of fresh fruits and vegetables in their diets. In fact, juicing is so widespread now that there are multiple juicing options that you can choose from for your perfect juicer.

Before you rush out and buy one, though, you should consider these 4 factors so you know you have the juicer that fits your individual, or your family’s, needs.

4 Things You Need to Know About Juicers

1. Juicers are not one-size-fits-all.

You need to think ahead about how much you plan to use your juicer and exactly what you plan on juicing. Some fruits and vegetables are harder than others, so if these are on your list, you’ll want to be sure you get a juicer that can handle that level of strength, such as a masticating juicer, like those at Juicer Land.

2. Juicing takes time.

If you’re buying a juicer with the intent of having freshly made orange or apple juice every morning but you’re on a time schedule that isn’t conducive to allowing 10-15 minutes or more every morning, you may be disappointed. You’ll also be spending more time in the grocery store if you make juicing part of your daily routine. Don’t forget, also, that if you don’t juice right, it can be unhealthy.

3. Consider your budget carefully.

Not all juicers are even close to the same price range. You can get a pretty inexpensive one, but remember that adage, “You get what you pay for.” With juicers, a cheap one usually means fewer features, more difficult cleanup, a limited (if any) warranty, and less juice yield before it breaks. If it’s possible, try to go for a mid-range or more expensive juicer, since this will let you grow into juicing. A cheaply made product might make it difficult for you to juice and you may give up, wasting your money anyway. A high-quality juicer is simple to use and long-lasting, and usually comes with a warranty if anything breaks.

4. Speaking of warranties….

The warranty on a juicer is not standard, so check each one before you decide on your purchase. Most cheaper centrifugal high-speed juicers come with a 1 to 5-year, during which time the motors may burn out. However, masticating juicers can often be found with a 10 year warranty with extra warranties for different parts.

Juicing is a Lifestyle – Live it Right

There is a lot to take into consideration before you purchase a juicer. Consider it an investment in your and your family’s health and even your finances, because if you do it right, juicing can save a lot of money on meal preparation and planning. But grabbing any juicer off the shelf without taking the time to decide where you want to go and how you want your juicing to grow is the same as throwing away money.

Whichever juicer works for you, a centrifugal or a masticating product, be sure you buy one that is not going to fall apart on you, is easy to clean up after and use, and has a solid warranty. This is one investment you will be glad you spent the extra money on.
